The main ingredient for creating movie posters and book covers is an illustrator sensibility. At Kinos, we mostly create our illustrations by manipulating images and using photographs.

To create an illustration, we assemble a bunch of photographs. Some projects can use up to 50 different images, picked either from rights-free image banks or from our own pictures. For other projects, mostly movie or TV posters, we use images provided by the producers and the distributors. The magic recipe when creating our illustrations lies in the colourizing treatment and in some small secret tricks we keep preciously up our sleeves.
